Who can forget UFC CEO Dana White’s infamous walkout from the Howie Mandel podcast? Back in February, Dana White was busy promoting the UFC 298 event and made multiple appearances on various shows. One such show was the Howie Mandel podcast, in which the 55-year-old appeared to discuss the event. However, what followed left the fans in shock as he walked out of the show in mere 30 seconds.
White later clarified that it was all a part of the plan and he was just acting. However, it seems Howie Mandel has an entirely different take on it. He recently sat down for a chat with Matt Friend on his podcast and shared his opinion on the whole fiasco.

The 68-year-old recently sat down for a chat on the ‘Friend In High Places’ podcast. During a particular section of the interview, they discussed the famous walkout by Dana White.
While most of the fans have heard the Dana White version it was now time to hear the Mandel’s version. The video was posted on X by Jed. I Goodman where Matt Friend had no hesitation in asking his guest the question, “I got to ask you about this viral moment. Dana White came on your podcast, and he walked off the set. Take us through what you were thinking.”
Mandel came up with an instant response as he said, “You spent minutes with me. What do you think? You want to leave?” Mandel’s response made it seem he was not at all happy with what had happened. The conversation continued, and the 68-year-old kept mentioning that he had no idea why the UFC CEO walked out of the podcast. Despite the reaction, Mandel made it clear that he does like White and the UFC but doesn’t want to see him judging any reality shows particularly America’s Got Talent.
The host asked him, “Do you think he should be a judge in America’s got talent?” Mandel said, “What he should do, you know those people that slap. I love that. Instead of judging, we should be able to slap.”
What stumped most fans, however, was White’s actions following the walkout. Mere days after making headlines, the UFC head honcho appeared on another podcast after declaring a dislike for appearing on them.
For many who might have missed the UFC head honcho’s version, he shared the exact details of it while speaking to Andrew Schulz. Let us look at what he had to say about the whole thing.

White shares the real reason behind his famous walkout
After successfully getting roasted at the Tom Brady roast by Andrew Schulz, the UFC CEO decided to go on his podcast as well . While speaking to the comedian, White shared the details of how his entire walkout was planned by Mandel himself. White appeared at the Sage Steele podcast a few months back where he had his first interaction with the famous podcaster as he owned the studio and was present for his interview. The 54-year-old was highly impressed by him and said, “He’s involved in all kinds of s..t. He owns social media companies and all this other stuff. Howie Mandel owns a lot of s..t that people don’t realize”.
However, what started off as a friendly chat later turned into a request for help. The podcaster, while having a conversation with White, asked for a favor as he is one of the most powerful personalities out there. Dana White couldn’t deny helping him and said, ‘Yeah, what’s up?’. Mandel then shocked him as he asked him to come to his podcast only to just walk out from it.

The UFC head honcho without thinking about the consequences agreed to do that as he was tired of doing podcasts and wanted a break. He further added, “So we go in there and do it, and he’s like ‘Take it to the grave.” White’s confession clearly points out that all of it was scripted just to get some views.
But after listening to Mandel’s claims it seems nothing like such ever happened. The fans are now in a dilemma as to whom they should believe for the famous walkout incident. What do you think about the latest claims made by Howie Mandel? Let us know about it in the comments below.
