The Bud Light move by Dana White may just be getting a bit out of hand. It looks like the promotional deal the UFC head honcho struck with the beer-making American giant has upset many of the usual UFC fans. Does that put White in trouble?
Dana White was famously featured in the recent Bug Light commercial that went up during the Super Bowl. Of course, fans noticed and the backlash was quick but White is not taking any steps back. He recently uploaded a video wearing a t-shirt promoting the brand still.
On his usual “F*ck It Friday” episodes, White usually shows off interesting recipes that may lie a little bit outside of his usual healthy diet routine. In the most recent video, the UFC CEO shows off an Upside Down Pizza which gets discussed way less than the ‘Bud Light’ t-shirt he’s wearing in the video.

What’s the controversy all about? In order to promote their own brand, Bud Light got some help from a Transgender TikTok personality Dylan Mulvaney. This move was not appreciated by many and the backlash the brand received has now transferred over to the MMA commercial.

White, an unapologetic person from the get go has previously addressed the hatred he receives along with the brand: “‘Bud Light sellout,’ oh who’s this guy? Somebody called me a Bud Light sellout,” White said during an Instagram Q/A session. “First of all, f*** you. Let’s start there, okay. Take a look at Anheuser-Busch and what they do before you open your big f****** yap, and mind your own f****** business. How bout that too?”
Still, the comments didn’t just stop there. Here are the latest reactions.
Fans react to Dana White bolstering Bud Light t-shirt
Dana White and his fans make the news often, but so do his trolls! Under the Instagram post, many flamed the UFC CEO for the subtle promotion that wasn’t all that subtle to begin with. Here are some of the reactions.
“Dana, as part of the bud deal, how many times do you have to wear that shirt?”
“Why wear the shirt. Obviously it’s intentional. So what’s up? They didn’t pay us millions of dollars to bend over. So please you can enjoy the beer all you want but stop the bullshit and shoving it in our faces.”
While some spoke about the shirt, others opposed Bud Light still.
“The shirt was unnecessary I don’t care how much they pay you, we ain’t buying it. Forget them”
