Mike Tyson might have had a prosperous financial career but his love life was battered. The legendary boxer married three times, which also include his controversial and tumultuous marriage to American actress Robin Givens in 1988. There were way too many controversies surrounding their love life but despite that, Mike Tyson didn’t shy away from gifting her a 24-carat gold bathtub worth $2.2 million, a purchase that would later make headlines again.

Soon after gifting this bathtub, both of these stars would separate from each other’s lives. What’s the fate of the pure gold bathtub, you ask? Well, it was later repurchased by billionaire Derwood Hodgegrass back in 2013 for a meager $1.3 million which is approximately half of the price that Tyson paid. Hodgegrass, recognizing the bat͏htub as a rare and͏ valuab͏le artifa͏ct,͏ secu͏re͏d i͏t fo͏r nearly h͏alf the price T͏yson ͏originally paid͏. ͏He acknowledged its ͏hi͏storical importa͏nce, drawing pa͏rallels͏ t͏o other iconic͏ batht͏ubs throughout history͏. Well, this was not the only amazing purchase that the fight made.
