Conor McGregor, renowned for his precision and counter-punching skills in the UFC, recently took to Twitter to highlight his achievement of maintaining a 100% accuracy rate in his strikes during multiple fights.

While the tweet received some skepticism from fans, who pointed out instances where McGregor missed, it remains intriguing to delve into McGregor’s approach to striking. Fans were also concerned that there was a high likelihood of his fight against Michael Chandler falling through.

Another wrinkle in the perception of the tweet was Conor’s recent knockout of a mascot in a stunt gone awry. Even if it was at the wrong time, McGregor was indeed very accurate. Much to the detriment of the poor mascot!

Conor McGregor first came onto the MMA scene with videos of his knockouts in Cage Warriors going viral. His tweet reflects his accomplishments in the Octagon.

Recently, he proudly shared, “100% accuracy rate. How many of you have fights with this rating for yourself? 100% striking accuracy. I have multiple on my record.”

This quote exemplifies McGregor’s confidence in his striking abilities and his pursuit of perfection inside the Octagon. The Irishman’s oft-repeated famous quote, “Precision beats power, and timing beats speed,” perfectly encapsulates his mindset.

Fans still waiting for Conor to fight again amidst USADA troubles

Although fans eagerly await McGregor’s next fight, his matchup against Michael Chandler is yet to be confirmed due to USADA rulings. McGregor, who has been out of the testing pool, needs to meet the necessary requirements and be cleared for competition.

The fight which is scheduled to happen in December, seems to have hit a roadblock. Conor was last active in the USADA pool before the 2nd Dustin fight. And has to remain in the testing pool for at least 6 months to be considered eligible for a fight.
