Often the biggest shows, productions, and projects have innumerable faces working behind the scenes to make those successful. Significantly, the same applies to the biggest podcast in the world, The Joe Rogan Experience. However, the JRE stands unique in the sense that it is run by only a single person arranging everything. Notably, Jamie Vernon aka Young Jamie is the producer behind the podcast whose notable work is pulling things onto the screen. While Young Jamie remains an unknown face to the majority of fans, he recently found an admirer in the podcaster Lex Fridman.

Notably, Fridman invited the guest Jocko Willink to his famed podcast. Appearing on the Lex Fridman Podcast # 197, the duo praised the right-hand man of the UFC color commentator for his ‘humility’.
What does Fridman say about Young Jamie, the right-hand man of Joe Rogan?
Jamie started his association with JRE in 2013 as an assistant to help producer and co-host Brian Redban in order to distribute the growing workload. Afterward, Redban left the show and was succeeded by Young Jamie, who contributed critically to the podcast’s success.
Since then, the podcast became a rage among listeners, established itself as a flagship YouTube podcast, and recently became exclusive with Spotify. Thus, Young Jamie has been thick and thin with the podcast’s growth.
Therefore, Fridman, the podcast host, stated, “I didn’t understand how little Joe knew about Jamie when he hired him and Jamie stepped up. And now runs one of the most successful podcasts ever. And that’s an incredible kind of and he’s one of the best producers in the world now. Not to let it get to his head.”
Following this, the guest cheekily remarked that the JRE producer was also one of the best Googlers.
Subsequently, the Russian-American computer scientist recalled his interactions with JRE’s sole handler. Thus, he disclosed, “He’s so just in every way. He carries himself. He’s so self-critical. He’s so like worried that ‘it’s wrong, it’s bad’.”
However, the 39-year-old podcaster was not the lone admirer, and later on, Willink also jumped on the bandwagon to praise Young Jamie.
Willink on Young Jamie’s humility
Drawing a parallel with a company hiring associates, Willink mentioned that the key characteristic to look for remained humility. Then, he referred to Young Jamie as an example.

Further, the guest narrated how Young Jamie replied about the review of the show after its conclusion. Instead of boasting about completing his job part, he would rather point out what he did wrong. Also, he would further mention how he didn’t have the setup in time.
However, toward the end of the segment, Fridman jokingly cautioned Jamie to not get cocky.
