Can Prosopagnosia be treated and cured?
Currently, there is no known cure for Prosopagnosia. Although incurable, scientists are still researching and developing methods to manage the disease. One way of dealing with face blindness is to focus on other features, such as height, voice tone, hair color, weight, skin tone, walking style, etc.
Another hurdle is detecting the disease. Doctors conduct a series of tests to identify whether the patient has face blindness or another hereditary neurological disorder.
