Is Trump's claim about ending the Ukraine war realistic, or just campaign rhetoric?

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump appears to have backtracked, at least in public, from his criticism of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. In a recent meeting between the two in late September in New York, the former president reiterated that if he wins the elections, he will quickly end the war in Ukraine.

Many Trump fans will surely be hooked to see what the former POTUS has in mind to stop the war. And one notable name who really wishes to know about his geopolitical strategies is none other than Khabib Nurmagomedov. In a recent interview, Trump revealed that while meeting the Eagle, he was touched by Nurmagomedov’s concern toward the war as he asked the former President a moving question.

During a recent appearance in the Full Send Podcast, Trump talked about the UFC and some of his favorite fighters in the promotion. Without wasting much time, he called The Eagle one of his favorites. Not just that, Trump also revealed that he had met Nurmagomedov at a UFC event and found him to be a really smart guy, a testament to which was a question that Trump did not see coming.

The Eagle asked Trump how he would be able to stop the war and wanted to understand his geopolitical tactics. “I met him at one of the fights. You know what he wanted to talk about? He wanted to say, “Is there any way you could stop the war because so many people are being killed?” So, you know he has a heart. He’s smart. How can you stop the war? We’ll get it stopped, by the way—that’s with Ukraine and Russia.”

According to recent polls, several voters from the U.S. believe that 45th President Donald Trump will do a better job of settling Russia’s war against Ukraine than Vice President Kamala Harris. In fact, there might be a world war if Trump is not elected as president. And that’s not us claiming this, as Donald Trump himself revealed the expected timeline for the major event.

In the same context, the former president assured a crowd of supporters that he could solve this problem if elected in November. He promised that he would end the war in Ukraine. Trump claimed that he could stop the chaos in the Middle East, and definitively prevent World War III.
