Not many Internet personalities can convince their fans that they can go toe to toe with an MMA veteran. However, Andrew Tate is definitely one of them! The four-time kickboxing champion has had a long past with combat sports, and fans still regard him for his fighting skills.

But it is evident that one cannot impress everyone in the fighting realm. Something similar happened to Tate when he received criticism from former UFC fighter Donald Cerrone. Not the one to back down from a verbal battle, Tate also replied with some bold statements.

Despite being under house arrest, Tate has been active in his work as an internet streamer. Being banned on most social media platforms, the ‘Top G’ now appears mostly on Rumble. Just days after missing out on a live stream with UFC President Dana White, he had the highly controversial Adam22 as his guest. Talking about MMA, Adam brought up the instance when Donald Cerrone criticized Tate for his fighting skills.

“(Cerrone) pulled up some old Andrew Tate kickboxing matches and was showing me them and did a pretty good job of making the point of this guy can’t fight”, Adam said, as reported by Lowkick MMA. Without losing an inch of confidence, Tate instantly hit back at the UFC legend.

Firstly, he started talking about how everyone has their share of critics after stepping into the fighting world. Further, Tate talked about his own fighting career, highlighting how he is proud of his achievements. “Of course, there’s always going to be someone who watches me and says I can’t fight. There’s a bunch of videos that say I can and there’s the odd idiot who says I can’t, but I’m very happy with where I am in my career and what I’ve achieved and I’m very confident in my abilities, so it is what it is”, said the former kickboxing champ.

Going forward, Tate had some bold things to say about Cerrone. He recounted Cerrone’s 1st round TKO loss to Conor McGregor and stated that the former UFC fighter should confront him. Also, Tate unapologetically hinted at engaging in an altercation with the MMA legend.

“As for Cerrone, I’ve heard of him. Didn’t McGregor finish him pretty quick? If he thinks I can’t fight, then if he wants to tell me to my face and kick my a**, he’s welcome to try”, he stated. “I strongly believe he will regret that decision”, Tate confidently said.
