Besides, they are still trying to understand what transpired at The Saddle Club. There are no complaints and the authorities haven’t arrested anyone yet. The police added, “Further enquiries are being carried out to establish what has taken place, but at this stage, no complaints have been made and nobody has been arrested.”

Why was it necessary for ‘The Notorious’ to leave the pub?

The Merseyside Police also issued a statement regarding Conor McGregor rushing out of the bar, which was apparent in the viral video. They claim that it was necessary for him to leave the scene to avoid garnering any form of unnecessary attention. The police said, “Mr. McGregor’s security detail decided it necessary to leave to avoid unnecessary speculation and attention.”

However, the owner of The Saddle Bar weighed in on the incident. They clarified what transpired in the pub in a statement, claiming that McGregor was indeed present there with his security. However, he showed no signs of misconduct. Rather, the Irishman appeared to be polite and acted like a gentleman. There were some other pub goers who pushed the wrong buttons on McGregor. Instead of getting into a scuffle, the former double champion chose to leave.

While McGregor has been involved in some serious scuffles over the years, this time the allegations may be baseless. Being a big sporting figure, it is not unusual for athletes to find themselves in such situations now and then. We will have to wait and see how things turn out after the police finish up their investigation in the days to come.
