“Holy Sh*t”- UFC Star Left Red-Faced Over Text Message to Heart Throb MMA Journalist From 2021

It appears the past does not always come back to haunt you. Sometimes it comes back to leave you flustered and embarrassed in a comical situation. UFC star Bobby Green faced a similar situation when his 2021 text message to a model-turned-MMA journalist came back to bite him.

The flamboyant American fighter recently steered his fighting career back to winning ways as he defeated Tony Ferguson at UFC 291. Since then, he has enjoyed a sizeable limelight and is also appearing in interviews. But there was one journalist ‘King’ was keen to appear with, Nina Marie Daniele, aka Nina Drama. She has carved out a name for herself through her hilarious clips and witty remarks. When the lightweight contender finally stood beside her, she brought up a DM buried deep in her Instagram account.

2-words that left Bobby Green embarrassed

The 36-year-old fighter finally had his wish granted when he recently visited the UFC Apex. However, it soon turned into a nightmare when Nina Drama started the conversation by pointing out, “I was just responding to the DM you sent me, September 17th of 2021”.

“Holy sh*t!” Green exclaimed. “What I said- ‘what up’. I said ‘what up’. That’s all I have to say. If you ain’t hit it, you ain’t winning.”

Following this, the social media star mentioned, “I didn’t see it until today.” But the lightweight fighter, still reeling from the disclosure, clarified his stance. While suggesting he failed to recall calling his shot, he also revealed what might have led to him sliding in her DMs.

He said, “I get that so many people that hit me up like five years later, I’m like, oh. See, you just caught on right now, your number. I’ve been on you; I already saw. I didn’t even know I shot my shot. You must have had a badas* video.”

Subsequently, the UFC fighter playfully asked how Nina Drama could call him out. He stated, “That’s crazy. Are you gonna call me out like that? How you gonna put me on blast like that? Shot my shot. I’m, ‘what’s up’.” However, he finally found footing in the conversation and heaped praise on the Playboy model for her success in the MMA world.

Nina Drama is “bubbling”

When Nina Drama responded that “nothing much,” was going on in her life, Green asserted, “What you mean? You’re bubbling girl. You having great success. From then to now. You’re on a big stage.”

He also reiterated how she was now around “champs” and “killers”. Notably, she has delivered memorable interviews recently with the likes of Glover Teixeira and Gordon Ryan. Behavioral and witty comical moments clad her interviews. Hence, she is emerging as a fan favorite among not only fans but also fighters. And Bobby Green had his own wish granted, albeit overshadowed by an embarrassing bit.
