At UFC 269, Julianna Pena dethroned ‘The Lioness’ Amanda Nunes to become the women’s bantamweight champion. The feat is also special because Pena achieved this feat by shattering stereotypes. Many in the MMA world thought that no one in the current bantamweight roster could take on Amanda Nunes.
Thus, it won’t be an exaggeration to state that ‘The Venezuelan Vixen’ is currently the happiest woman in the world. Meanwhile, the bantamweight also believes in sharing that happiness.

Julianna Pena is currently focused on a possible rematch with women’s featherweight champion Amanda Nunes. However, recently, she got into a back and forth with PFL champion Kayla Harrison.
Julianna Pena calls Kayla Harrison ‘B-league’ fighter
Nobody in the MMA world could predict what happened in the octagon in the co-main event of UFC 269. It overjoyed some and some sat disappointed with pale faces. And Kayla Harrison was in the latter group. Interestingly, because UFC president Dana White was actually trying to set up a bout between Amanda Nunes and PFL champion Kayla Harrison. But as things turned out, he has derailed the plan for some time.
Meanwhile, MMA fans speculated that maybe the UFC president could replace Julianna Pena for Amanda Nunes. But, the current bantamweight champion looks totally uninterested. Notably, she even called Harrison a ‘B-league’ fighter. The current bantamweight champion took a jibe at PFL and called it “B-league” and added, “I’m not paying too much attention to what she’s doing down there.”
However, Kayla Harrison was furious at Pena’s comments and retreated quickly. She asked Pena to be careful and remind her that this isn’t a joke.

“I think she should be careful,” Harrison said. “I think she needs to be careful about what she says and who she says it to. I’m not Conor McGregor. I don’t talk sh*t just to talk sh*t. I have a lot of respect for her. I think she’s a good fighter. But this isn’t a joke, and you should be careful, because I don’t play those games.
