Jones gave up his light heavyweight title to move to the heavyweight. He last fought at UFC 247 in 2020.
He has been preparing for a move to the heavyweight division. However, there isn’t much clarity about when he will be back.
In the same podcast, Jackson also spoke about how the fighter might fare at the heavier division. He feels that Jones could do a good job against the smaller heavyweights. But fighters like Francis Ngannou or Ciryl Gane pose a problem. Getting hit by Ngannou would definitely be dangerous.
