Brendan Schaub praises Joe Rogan
One of Rogan‘s good friends is a fellow comedian and former UFC fighter, Brendan Schaub. Schaub has appeared on Rogan‘s podcast multiple times and has even been doing independent podcasting. Schaub recently had Cory Sandhagen, a top-ranked UFC fighter, on his show, ‘Food Truck Diaries’.
During their conversation, Schaub spoke about Rogan‘s podcast and his ability to make long conversations interesting. Schaub remarked on the unique experience of talking to someone for three hours straight. He compared it to being in a “weird alternate world,” where time seems to warp and fly by. Schaub went on to praise Rogan‘s ability to take the conversation in unexpected directions, all while keeping the guest at ease and engaged.
“With Rogan, he’s so good at it and everything’s so tight. He can go so many places where it’s never on the guest and that’s why he’s the best to ever do it. He just has that God-given talent.”

Rogan shares his secret to success as a podcaster
The UFC commentator was among those who made podcasting mainstream. But that isn’t the key to the JRE becoming huge. As revealed by the host himself, the main reason ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’ became popular was because Rogan was actually interested in the people he invited.
“I think when you do something that you like, it’s very obvious to the people that are paying attention. I think that’s part of the appeal of a lot of shows, you know, I think that is why it works.”
