UFC star Sergei Pavlovich had a hilarious callout to the UFC Heavyweight champion Jon Jones. After securing a dominating win at UFC Vegas 71, the Russian fighter knows he is fighting ‘Bones’ next with UFC gold on the line.

With his triumph against Curtis Blaydes, the promotion uplifted the heavyweight fighter in rankings as he now sits behind the previous challenger, Ciryl Gane. Interestingly, the former champion Stipe Miocic dropped lower than Pavlovich and is placed third. This recent shift in the rankings also boosted Pavlovich’s title aspirations, and he argued his case as the next title contender when he asked where his belt was in one of his recent tweets.

In addition, the former Fight Nights Global champion heels Jon Jones in a peculiar UFC stats. He believes a showdown between them will be one of its kind in promotion’s history.

Sergei Pavlovich pitches ‘most amazing fight ever’ with Jon Jones

The 30-year-old stands out as the closest to the current Heavyweight lynchpin when the reach of every fighter is measured. While Jon Jones has the longest reach in the promotion at 84.5″, Pavlovich comes a close second with 84″.

Sharing the same on his Twitter handle, the 18-1 record holder wrote, “Just look at that arm span!!! This is going to be the most amazing fight ever. #ufc #imhere”

Notably, a title match between Jon Jones and Stipe Miocic is currently under work. The Heavyweight champion has also floated the scenario of him hanging the gloves after defeating Miocic at Madison Square Garden.

Billed as the greatest Heavyweight fighter of all time, Miocic recently revealed in an interview how a super fight is on the cards and might take place as soon as July. Thus, he said, “But of course, he [Jon Jones] has to fight me in July. I wanted that fight, unfortunately, I didn’t get it. And now I have to wait until July.”

On the other hand, Pavlovich might have to wait for a while before he mounts in his title challenge.
