UFC 287 promises one of the biggest cards of this year as former champ Israel Adesanya tries to reclaim the middleweight throne from Alex Pereira in a battle for the ages. While there’s no doubt that the two are equally good on their feet, the fact that the Brazilian has beaten ‘Stylebender’ every time they fought leaves fans wondering how this one will turn out.
Addressing this debate, a UFC legend who was very recently seen with ‘Poatan‘, helping him with his training, has made a rather stunning prediction for the fight. Although it might not be shocking considering the way their previous matchups have gone, this Hall of Famer’s forecast will surely sound intriguing for a section of the fans.

Former UFC light heavyweight champ and a legend of the sport, Chuck Liddell recently made an appearance on Pereira’s official YouTube channel. This took place after Liddell’s training clip with the Brazilian had gone viral on social media, where he was seen sharing a few intricacies of the fight game with the champ.
Addressing the fight, ‘The Ice Man’ made quite an interesting forecast for the UFC 287 main event. Claiming that the previous losses will end up playing into Adesanya’s mentality, the 53-year-old predicted a finish for Pereira in the rematch.
“He’s lost how many?…that’s tough on the guy’s head …I think it’ll end in three,” he opined.
Considering the champ’s affinity to knock his opponents out cold and the fact that he has already achieved this feat against the New Zealander, although in a kickboxing fight, one can’t help but agree that it might just happen yet again.
Despite that, Adesanya’s fight IQ and his technical superiority could end up a bit too overwhelming for Pereira to handle.

But it’s the uncertainty of this fight that will end up playing a big part in their mind as we inch closer to fight night.
