Joe Rogan, the longtime UFC color commentator, recently gave his unvarnished thoughts on his close acquaintance Jordan Peterson’s Twitter suspension.

In the latest episode of ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’ podcast on Spotify, the UFC commentator was in conversation with the Shazam movie star Zachary Levi, where they discussed his new book, ‘Radical Love: Learning to Accept Yourself and Others’.

However, at a point in the conversation, they both stumbled upon the topic of the famous psychologist, Jordan Peterson. After that, the actor said some good words about Peterson.

Following that, the 54-year-old reminded Levi of the time when Peterson got suspended from Twitter for his comments on the transgender actor Elliot Page.

Rogan said, “He’s kicked off Twitter right now cause he said something about Ellen Page – Elliot Page – called her Ellen Page. I think that was the number one thing, the dead-naming…” (H/T: Daily Mail)

“My friend Brian Simpson had a very good thing to say about that. He was like I come to you for, like, heavy duty intellectual s***. He goes not for this. Like this is not a thing to be getting offended about…” Rogan added.

“But the thing is, that transgender thing riles people up, man. Like everybody’s in favor of everybody doing whatever they want to do, as long as it doesn’t hurt anybody until it gets to the gender – and then people start getting weird,” Rogan concluded.

Jordan Peterson once praised Joe Rogan for his achievements

Many influential figures from all areas of life have appeared on the popular podcast hosted by the 54-year-old Rogan on Spotify. Jordan Peterson was one of them. He has appeared on the show several times.
