Furthermore, the UFC color commentator also claimed that the fighter was in for greatness in the world of mixed martial arts.

In episode #139 of the JRE MMA Show, Rutten and Rogan talked about Ian Garry. Rutten claimed that the rising star was fun to watch. Undeniably, the JRE host agreed with the Hall of Famer.
The beloved commentator was seemingly mesmerized by Garry’s performance against Rodriguez. A knockout in the first round impressed everyone. What’s more amazing is that Garry became the first person to stop the Mexican via a knockout!
Rogan said, “Oh my God! Undefeated, so confident, and so intelligent. You know, beating Daniel Rodriguez like that in his last fight and being the first guy to stop Rodriguez, that’s a big deal. He’s got it, man. He’s got it, whatever it is, you know. He’s got it. He’s on his way up.”
It’s not just Rogan who can’t stop talking about Garry. Fellow countryman Conor McGregor showered the young fighter with praises.

Before the showdown at UFC Charlotte, Garry predicted that he would end the match against Rodriguez with a kick to the head. Surprisingly, he stood true to his words in a familiar ‘Mystic Mac’ fashion. Thereafter, proud McGregor took to Twitter and inducted his protégé to the ‘Shot Caller Club’.
Additionally, he also commended ‘Machado’ for getting out of the fight without a single scratch. ‘The Notorious’ wrote, “When you call your shot and hit it, that’s special. The Shot Caller Club has a new entry, Ireland’s Ian “The Future” Garry! #NotAScratch.”
