His last proposed bout against Robert Whittaker was scheduled for UFC 284 but got canceled due to contract negotiations. But Paulo Costa cannot be left away from the news owing to his popularity. Now another rival has called Costa for a fight. Moreover, Costa has made his opinion about the fighter in a recent tweet.

Costa has responded to Sean Strickland’s callout

‘The Eraser’ is quick to respond to the UFC middleweight’s callout. Borrachinha said in a tweet that Strickland was a nice guy with a few flaws.

Furthermore, the Brazilian middleweight added in his tweet, “I just think one of his many problems is because he’s been shot several times in the head and now he’s kind of living on a permanent concussion making jokes so old he couldn’t think of something updated lolall good Bro.”

Furthermore, the Brazilian also tweeted praising Sean Strickland. Costa said that his fellow UFC fighter is ‘Brave’.

Paulo Costa’s tweet comes in direct response to Sean Strickland’s callout. The loudmouthed UFC middleweight had some words for the Brazilian, which provoked him a response.

Strickland posted a message for Paulo Costa

Strickland is looking to carry on his march toward the UFC middleweight championship. After consecutive losses, Strickland bounced back with a win against Nassourdine Imavov. Now he looks to a bigger challenge in the form of Paulo Costa. Strickland had to go to his Instagram account to post a message for the Brazilian middleweight. Strickland said, “Yo, Costa, I think we should fight, bro.”

He further said the fight could happen if Costa made weight and didn’t get “drunk“.

Moreover, the UFC fighter added that the fight makes sense. Furthermore, Strickland also took a jibe at the ‘The Eraser’ by dwelling on his recent weight-cut controversy. But the controversial loudmouthed fighter is looking forward to seeing Costa in the octagon with him.
