Being an advocate of health and fitness, Joe Rogan does not tolerate people or practices that convey the opposite. The UFC commentator is an ardent martial artist who keeps himself in top shape with rigorous workouts. The millionaire host of The Joe Rogan Experience often discusses topics related to health and fitness on his show as well. Recently, Rogan took up the case of people who inject themselves with various substances to look jacked. He also gave his thoughts on what he thought were the drawbacks of plastic surgeries.

In episode #1909 of JRE, stand-up comic Stavros Halkias. During their conversation, Rogan talked about bodybuilders who looked absurd because of how blown out of proportion certain parts of their bodies looked.

Rogan‘s technical assistant pulled up pictures of several bodybuilders who looked out of proportion. Certain parts of their bodies, like the traps, biceps, chest, and thighs, were supremely out of proportion. Rogan slammed the practice of injecting substances to achieve such results.

Reacting to one of those images, he said, “He’s also probably days from death. If you’re doing that to your body, your body is filled with this invasive agent, making it swell.”

Aside from being dangerous, the BJJ black belt mentioned more drawbacks of the practice.

“What’s crazy is he’s probably weak because of all that stuff, too. Well, he probably inhibits his ability to move things around. So he’s probably weak as f**k while being gigantic.”

“He’s clearly insane. That’s an insane person,” the former ‘Fear Factor’ host added.

While looking at more pictures and videos of such people, Rogan touched upon the negative effects of plastic surgery.

Rogan’s opinion on plastic surgery

Rogan derided plastic surgery for the mental toll it exacts. According to him, once you get plastic surgery done, you’re at risk of feeling more insecure about other body parts. Hence, you end up getting more surgeries done.

“That’s what’s the problem with like plastic surgery, right? If you think that you could change it and then you do change it, and then you want to change a little more, better. And ‘I don’t like this about me and I don’t like that. I don’t like this weird piece of skin. I don’t like the way my nose meets my eyebrows.”

Rogan also mentioned there were people who went down that black hole and went crazy.
