The UFC commentator on his Joe Rogan Experience podcast sat down with Greg Fitzsimmons as he talked about the master who taught Keanu Reeves to be a master assassin. But who is the mystery man? Well, it’s none other than 13x National Championship winner Taran Butler.

While talking about guns and gun ranges, Rogan revealed that Taran Butler was the one who taught Reeves all about shooting guns for the action franchise. He said, “He taught Keanu Reeves for all the John Wick movies. He taught Halle Barry when she was in John Wick. He teaches anytime, like a celebrity needs to learn how to look like a real assassin. They go to that guy.”

Rogan further praised Butler for his expertise in the firearm. He said, “He’s a multiple-time champion, and those, you know, when they do those, they have a course, and you run the course, and you know beep (imitates beeper noise) like they time you, and that guy wins all those f*ckin things. He’s a wizard. He’s like revered for his prowess with the gun.”

Taran Butler truly represents a true sports shooting artist and a true virtuoso of firearms, capable of leaving anyone with their mouths open. He is well known in the world of high competition and is one of the best shooters on the American scene, with 13 national championships. He has also made a place for himself with his own company, Taran Tactical Innovations (TTI), which currently has multiple employees purely dedicated to modifying weapons for competition and creating accessories in the world of shooting.

Within a short time, TTI has become the benchmark to go to find anything in sports shooting. Benelli shotguns and TTI-modified Glock pistols are in high demand among sport shooters. TTI’s weapons and accessories have also been seen in several top films, including the Wick franchise. But do you know that he is actually good friends with Reeves?
