UFC welterweight Colby Covington sat down with Lara Trump at ‘The Right View’ to talk about his upcoming fight. Covington rematches Kamaru Usman for UFC gold at UFC 268 taking place in Madison Square Garden. He went over his preparation for the bout and also talked about other aspects related to the company, including Dana White.

Covington was asked to opine on what UFC President Dana White has managed to do for the UFC during the pandemic era. The long-time boss of the organization made sure the UFC was the first show back in town and also never fired any of his employees. These actions by White left a lasting impression on everyone, including Colby Covington.

“If they don’t say the right things, they’re going to get canceled, or they’re not going to get a starting spot or they’re going to lose endorsement deals which is even worse. Dana’s done a great job of just letting the fighters be free and decide which way they want to go, what narrative they want to speak.”
