Joe Rogan is an incredible storyteller. The UFC commentator has a knack for recollecting a small incident and narrating a story around it. The 55-year-old probably remembers every match he has commentated for in his long career. One match he simply couldn’t forget was when Kamaru Usman faced Leon Edwards for the Welterweight title.

Joe Rogan called Jon Anik the best in the history
Jon Anik is a UFC color commentator, who provides a lot of value to the sport. The commentator really does his homework, according to Joe Rogan. In episode #1884 of the Joe Rogan Experience, Rogan was discussing Anik’s exceptional skills. The podcast host was joined by Red Hot Chilli pepper’s lead vocalist, Anthony Kiedis.
Both of them were talking about the match between Leon Edwards and Kamaru Usman at UFC 278. The 55-year-old points out how Anik made an observation when Edwards was looking tired. He said “John Anik was just saying that is not in Leon’s nature to quit…” and adds “And he lands that head-kick…”
They spoke about the famous head kick delivered by Edwards that knocked out Kamaru Usman. The head kick immediately knocked out Usman. Ultimately, it made Leon Edwards the champion of the welterweight division.
Kiedis appreciated how Anik was able to call that “John’s pretty on it…”
Joe Rogan, without any hesitation, said “He’s the best!” and adds “Jon Anik is the best!”
