T.J. Dillashaw returned to action for the first time in 2 years. The fighter faced Cory Sandhagen at the UFC Vegas 32 event and won via a split decision. Ever since that victory people from all over the world have been talking about the same. Recently Dillashaw’s former teammate Urijah Faber shared his views on the same.

When asked to give his opinion on Dillashaw’s return, Faber explained why he thinks Dillashaw cheats and how he looked at his return.

He said, “He looked like the same guy. I mean look, in the aftermath of having the guy in the team and leaving the team. And me always being dark and all. I know a lot more stuff than those people do, about the whole situation. But the one thing I can say is the reason he’s cheating is that he’s a competitor. Not a fair competitor, like he’s a cheap shot guy but the guy’s whole intent and focus is to win.”

“And you know someone’s a cheater because they don’t believe in themselves that one thing. But if someone does an actual assessment of what they need to gain, whether it be conditioning or strength or whatever, and then cheat because of that there’s a big difference. One’s a mental weakness, the other one is being crafty in cheating, to gain financial and fame, and whatever else. I mean he was able to do that.”

He said, “The lay-off I mean he used the time well and came back being the same guy he always has, just an older guy who has put on some size and whatever else he’s been doing throughout the years. He’s a bigger guy than when we started and I think that plays in his favor and he’s always a competitor. That’s a legit champion mentality guy when it comes to competing.”
