Apart from being a great fighter, UFC star Conor McGregor is also an ardent football fan. Recently, the fighter was seen wearing a PSG jersey and showed his support for the club. The reason behind this is McGregor’s friendship with Sergio Ramos, who has just made a move to PSG.

Along with Ramos, one of the greatest ever players, Lionel Messi, has also moved to PSG. ‘Notorious’ who shares a great relationship with Ramos, showered his support for his friend’s new club. Earlier, the fighter had even taken to Instagram to share his support for Ramos, Messi, and PSG.

McGregor had written, “At the Beverly Hills supporting my bro @sergioramos at @psg. It’s crazy how this team has scooped all these incredible players up, and in such quick succession too. Messi is on 75mill U.S dollars a year, flat. Not including endorsement on top.”

McGregor had even talked about how he would love to overtake Messi and once again become the highest-paid athlete of the year. He wrote, “He be hard to beat this year on the Forbes list without one more fight in the book. But that said don’t count me out. We are only 2 months into this new Forbes fiscal year and I already have his year’s wage boxed off hahaahahahaha.”

PSG has raked in Sergio Ramos, Lionel Messi, and Gianluigi Donnarmumu in this transfer window. Add to that the fact that they already have the likes of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe in their team and one can see how good a team PSG has become.

Will Conor McGregor fight again this year?

Conor McGregor faced Dustin Poirier at the UFC 264 event and broke his leg during the fight. As a result, ‘Notorious’ has been medically suspended until 2022. However, if the fighter is cleared by a doctor and is deemed fit before that, he can still compete by the end of the year.

While there are many fighters that would be willing to fight McGregor when he returns. ‘Notorious’ himself wants to face Dustin Poirier in a 4th fight. However, that seems unlikely at the moment as Poirier will challenge for the UFC title next.
