Henry Cejudo surprised the MMA community with his re-entry into the USADA pool. What was thought to be a futile attempt at trying to make fights online with his trash-talking has now slowly started to materialize into something plausible. The former double champ has taken steps to make his way back into the octagon and is training with none other than Mike Tyson.

Episode 28 of The Triple C & Schmo show revolved around many topics. One discussion saw Henry Cejudo talk about training with Mike Tyson and give an insight into a new project that he and ‘Iron Mike’ were working on. With two different specializations in fighting, it would be something exciting to think of.
Cejudo stated, “Yeah, it was cool, man. So me and Tyson, we’re gonna start an instructional DVD together with dynamic striking. And it’s actually Mike Tyson teaching me a lot of his combinations. As you watch guys like Larry Holmes, a lot of the knockouts that he’s done.”

“Like literally Mike Tyson to be walking us through of what he’s done and one and what one other than Triple C meant to be in there. And you know, it’s legendary man. It’s a legendary moment because Mike Tyson has never done any instructional videos. This will be the first time in Mike Tyson’s career that he’s coming up with an instructional boxing DVD based on his style of boxing.”

‘Iron’ Mike is now on the path to training Cejudo for a possible return. The former dual UFC champion was seen doing some pad work with Mike Tyson in a recent tweet.
Despite mixed reactions from fans and the UFC community, Cejudo is steadfast in learning from the very best.
Henry Cejudo might have been a former double champ. However, in the two years he has been away, the competition has grown exponentially. Triple C’s call out to Alexander Volkanovski is no simple affair if it moves forward as ‘The Great’ (who is on a 21-fight win streak) is an absolute machine who will push Cejudo to his limits.
