Tragedy struck the Biden household in 2015 when Joe Biden’s elder son, Joseph R. Biden III, aka Beau Beau Biden, passed away due to cancer at 46. He announced the same in an official statement distributed by the White House. Biden said that his son had fought cancer with the same integrity, courage, and strength that he demonstrated every day of his life.
Beau Biden was a member of the Delaware National Guard. For his military service in Iraq, he was awarded the Bronze Medal. But unfortunately, the same life as a soldier would leave Joe Biden heartbroken. In the latest edition of the Joe Rogan podcast, Rogan talked about a deadly practice in the military that might’ve taken the life of the former Delaware attorney general. He and the guest also discussed how the cancer medication industry is flourishing better than ever.
While in a conversation with Brigham Buhler on his Joe Rogan Experience, the UFC commentator brought up the burn pit. A burn pit is a massive fire lit by the military near their base. The purpose of it is to burn all the plastic and other waste they have rather than dispose of it. The fire burns for up to 24 hours or more. However, with the wind, the toxic fumes are often inhaled by the soldiers.

Rogan even brought up a recent article in which POTUS Joe Biden revealed that there is a major link between burn pits and his son’s cancer. Showing his sympathy for Biden, the podcaster said, “Biden addresses possible link between son’s fatal brain cancer and toxic military burn pits. Isn’t that insane—his own son. So he couldn’t even protect his own son. I mean, he’s a powerful politician.”

As per recent statistics by Statista, in 2022, the global market for cancer drugs was estimated to be around 147 billion U.S. dollars. By the year 2032, the figure is expected to be even more than double its current market. With the market being forecasted to reach over 300 billion U.S. dollars. Also, the treatment for the disease is not easily accessible to all.
With the top diagnosis systems costing more than what a middle-class family could afford. So while it could not be provided to all by the government, why couldn’t it be free for firefighters and veterans? This is a major issue that was raised by Rogan and his guest.

JRE host and guest question the Joe Biden government’s initiatives
Special guest Brigham Buhler raised a major question for the people in power. He questioned that while providing super expensive treatments to all Americans can be a very tough task, why doesn’t the government provide the same cancer treatments to firefighters and veterans?
He said, “What I argued with the senator about was, okay, let’s just say we can’t afford this for all Americans. Why in the hell wouldn’t we at minimum be doing this for our firefighters and our military veterans?” He revealed that 70% of them are bound to get cancer in their lifetime because of dealing with ballistics, weapons, and smoke.

Rogan too chimed in as he said, “Yeah, think about all the things that they breathe in that are on fire. I mean, look at how many veterans have suffered because of burn pits. Which is an insane thing that they did.” Well, this truly is saddening and makes one question about the public healthcare system in the country. But as we saw, even Joe Biden couldn’t change what was written in his fate despite being a very powerful man.
What do you think? Should these expensive treatments be easily accessible for veterans and firefighters? Let us know in the comments.
