Singapore saw the wrath of a serious Japanese Bo Nickal inside the Octagon! The UFC Singapore successfully drew a rapt following from all over the world. With a plethora of captivating matchups, this event has surely enchanted numerous fans. Being the center stage for a mesmerizing featherweight showdown between Max Holloway and Chan Sung Jung, the event showcased yet another gripping encounter as Rinya Nakamura beat Fernie Garcia in a bantamweight division clash.

Coming off a two-match losing streak, the Texas product wanted to put Nakamura in deep water by ending his winning streak. However, Nakamura came into the octagon with an impeccably clean record, ending all three of his fights in the first round by knockout. The initial round went on to become a gritty showdown due to Nakamura’s wrestling prowess. He took Garcia down twice, eventually choking him up, but couldn’t succeed. Moving on to the second round, both initially began by showcasing their strikes on each other, but Nakamura yet again took Garcia down.

Intended to target his arm, ‘Hybred’ was able to lock in a submission in the second round. Garcia, however, hung up and continued to carry on. The final round began with both fighters trying to connect their punches, but Nakamura, relying on his wrestling skills again, got Garcia down and remained over him throughout.
Nakamura, however, held his arm in an armbar but still couldn’t succeed. As the match was over, the decision came in favor of Nakamura, giving him his 4th UFC win. His triumph was further able to captivate the fans since they brought their reactions to his feat on X.
