White, who always stood by Rogan like a wall, headed to The Pivot Podcast and talked about his longtime friend.
Talking about all the issues the JRE host faced and the one specific issue for which Rogan apologized publically, Dana White offered, “When Joe said it, you have to put it into context. He wasn’t dropping it; He was saying, he was explaining what other people had said, but he was saying the word.”
White continued, “[He] apologized for it over & over again.”

Joe Rogan is very passionate about the sport of martial arts or combat sports in general. The veteran commentator has been with the UFC for the better part of the company’s existence. In his time at the promotion, he has elevated the sport immensely with his supreme knowledge and well-educated take on what’s going inside the octagon.

On ‘THE FIGHT with Teddy Atlas’ podcast, UFC President Dana White said, “To have a guy like him [Joe Rogan], behind the mic, he was very instrumental in helping build the sport”
White pointed out that a ‘passionate’ Rogan was at the top of his game in walking people through what happened on the ground in the early days. Chiefly, when there were not a lot of people in the sport that understood it. This speaks volumes of Rogan’s subject matter expertise to help many others get on board.
