In the aftermath of the incident, McGregor asserted that it is high time for the Irish Republic to have a genuine leader. He stated that he would be willing to step into the political arena if necessary. The fighter, inspired by a surge of patriotism after the stabbing attack, exuded even more fervent nationalistic energy.

UFC Fighter Renato Moicano believes that McGregor has fallen from his prime and is doing whatever possible to stay relevant in the UFC. I think he was a great fighter, but nowadays, I don’t know.” Moicano implies that McGregor’s actions might be motivated more by a craving for atten͏tion rather than a sincere passion for fighting. “Mystic Mac” has been trying hard to fight Chandler. However, Daniel Cormier seems to have a different opinion altogether.
