UFC 295 ended with Alex Pereira winning the light Heavyweight Title after defeating Jiri Prochazka. Previously, the Brazilian competed in the Middleweight division. However, after losing his title to Israel Adesanya,“Poatan” moved to the light heavyweight division. In a recent video uploaded on Instagram, Tom Aspinall shares an exciting encounter with Alex Pereira at the UFC 295.
Aspinall entered the UFC 295 after the Jones vs. Miocic fight was canceled. He then went on to win the Interim Heavyweight title after beating Sergei Pavlovich. However, the event’s highlight was when Pereira sized up the 30-year-old fighter during the press conference.

Alex Pereira is one of the scariest fighters to many. The lightweight champion is known for his Jiu-Jitsu skills and his striking. Pereira’s move to the light heavyweight division initially received a lot of criticism. However, the Brazilian silenced his critics after he defeated Jiri Prochazka at UFC 295. Now, the Brazilian is ready to move to the Heavyweight division. However, the current Interim Heavyweight champion already knew that Pereira would make the move soon.
In a recent Instagram video by Combat Talk, ” Honey Badger” said: “ Well listen to this right. We are in New York. He was quite frosty when we first met. We went and did the press conference. I am sitting here, and he is there. Got off the press conference and i said oh like how was it . I said you know that’s Alex Pereira. He said yeah . I said he thinks he can beat me you know.”
“I literally could feel of him that,I just felt like maybe I am making this up in my mind. When I heard he wants to move to Heavyweight i was not surprised. I felt he was sizing me up a little bit,” he added.

With Pereira moving up the division and Aspinall being the current Interim Heavyweight champion, fans may witness one of the best fights in the UFC. Tom Aspinall took the world by storm after he defeated Sergei Pavlovich at UFC 295. ‘ Honey Badger’ dominated the fight and ended it in the first round via a knockout. The 30-year-old took the fight on concise notice after Jon Jones pulled out of the main event because of an injury. Currently, the Interim champion is waiting for his next opponent, and hopefully, it will be Jon Jones.
