UFC 302 is just around the corner and the fans are super excited about it. The main event will feature Islam Makhachev defending his title against Dustin Poirier. Both fighters will look to settle their differences inside the Octagon after many online brawls. The event also marks the return of Joe Rogan after missing the previous UFC 301 event.

MMA Fighting recently shared a post on their X account hinting at the return of Joe Rogan for UFC 302. The 56-year-old has been associated with the UFC for a long time now. However, he was not a part of the UFC 301 event. Rogan doesn’t travel to most of the international pay-per-view broadcasts, so he is now absent from a few UFC events.

Rogan will be joined by Jon Anik and Daniel Cormier for the upcoming UFC 302 event at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ. While Rogan, Anik, and Cormier appear to be a perfect trio to elevate the UFC 302 experience, Islam Makhachev might benefit from Cormier’s presence in the commentary box as DC is often accused of siding with the Dagestani fighters.
