Joe Rogan is one of the most noted figures in the entire UFC. The comedian turned podcaster is on an over-a-decade tenure with the UFC. Apart from The UFC, Rogan also hosts his own podcast, ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’, where he discusses numerous issues right from the fight game to politics and every issue you can think of. In one such episode of ‘JRE’, Rogan went on to state how he had witnessed his abusive father.

Rogan also described how his father would lift her cousin by her hair and other stories of his father’s abuse. But all his claims have been now put to question as Rogan’s half-sister, Bridget Rogan Carselda, spoke out about her and Rogan’s father, calling him “the epitome of a wonderful father.”

Carselda’s statements put a question on Joe Rogan’s words

Carselda’s description of her father’s behavior will definitely raise questions in the minds of those who believed Rogan’s words about his father.

Carselda said, “Growing up, my sister and I just had such a happy childhood. I just can’t tell everyone enough what a great father we have, God has blessed us”. Her description of her father was crazy different from Rogan, who described his father as an abusive man.

She went on, “My father has never been violent ever, that is why Joe junior’s claims are such a shock to us. My father has never even raised his voice to us. He is the epitome of a wonderful father.” Apparently, she too was in shock hearing Joe Rogan’s defaming words towards his father.

Carselda said, “I was 19 years old when my father told me about Joe Jr. He was not even famous yet, he was a comedian and did a show called NewsRadio,” as she described how she got to know about Joe Rogan.

Carselda also described that she and her father had made efforts to contact and meet Rogan. She said, “We looked him up on the computer and emailed him asking to meet, and explained that his father would also like to meet him”. But the reply she received from Rogan probably filled her with disgust. She stated, “Joe did respond, but not kindly. He referred to my father as a sperm donor. So my sister and I backed off and never emailed him again.

Carselda’s thought about why Joe Rogan lied about his father

Carselda said that she believes that the ‘lies’ about Rogan’s father were propagated by Rogan’s mother, as it was mostly Rogan’s mom who brought him up. Rogan’s father and mother didn’t share a pretty strong relationship and decided to part ways.
