During the podcast, Joe Rogan told Saad that he thought Russian wrestler Aleksandr Karelin, considered one of the greatest wrestlers of all time, was the scariest wrestler of all time because of his outrageous strength and size, which helped him throw his opponents around.

“Aleksandr Karelin, who’s the scariest f***ing wrestler of all time, like if anybody says like who’s the scariest wrestler of all time, it’s Karelin. They used to call him the experiment because his parents were like normal size like kind of tiny like five seven and he’s a f***ing panther, like a human panther. Six foot, two hundred pounds. And you know what his move is? He throws people around. He picks them up and beats them with the Earth. He’s the most terrifying wrestler ever,” he said.

Saad asked Rogan how he would fare in a hypothetical matchup against Karelin. The host replied that there was “zero chance” he would win and it would only be a matter of how long he could run from Karelin. The Texas resident also revealed that he had a printed picture of the wrestling legend to keep himself humble and remind him “what a bitch he is”. He also speculated how Karelin would fare in the modern MMA scene.

Joe Rogan also talked about Karelin and his MMA experience. He told Saad that Karelin had been involved in a few MMA fights in Japan, but thought that the fights may have been fixed. If Karelin was to fight in the UFC today, Rogan believed all his opponents would be in trouble. Especially if he worked on his striking. “Everyone would be f***ed.
