Deiveson Figueiredo, the former UFC flyweight champion, suffered a devastating loss in his previous title defense. However, the Brazilian fighter has another chance to regain his gold. He is set to take on the Mexican champion Brandon Moreno in a trilogy bout at UFC 270.

‘Deus da Guerra’ is vigorously preparing for the much-anticipated trilogy bout. He recently uploaded a picture on his official Instagram account where he looked shredded.

Recently, ahead of the first pay-per-view of the year, UFC president Dana White appeared in an interview with Kevin Lole of Yahoo Sports. The latter asked White to share his thoughts on Figueiredo’s shredded look.

‘Deus da Guerra’ and ‘The Assassin Baby’ have crossed paths twice in the UFC. Their first clash ended in a majority draw. However, both the flyweight combatants put up an amazing fight and also won the ‘Fight Of The Night’ bonus.

Whereas, in their second bout, the Mexican outclassed the Brazilian. He showed more pace in the fight and submitted the champion in the third round. However, seems like the former champion has put in the work for the trilogy. Hence, we might see a different version of Figueiredo at UFC 270.
