UFC commentator Jon Anik spoke to Mike Bohn from MMA Junkie ahead of UFC 269, the final numbered event of the year. Anik will be ringside on the commentary bench covering the event alongside Joe Rogan and Daniel Cormier. While talking about the fights, Anik was also asked to opine on the recent feud between his colleagues.

Jon Anik shares his views on the Dominick Cruz and Daniel Cormier feud
Anik seemed rather displeased by the entire situation and talked about how the feud was taking away from the fights at UFC 269. He also commented on how Dominick Cruz is known to be combative by nature and is quick to call out everyone around him. Anik revealed that he himself has been in Cruz’s crossfire in the past.
“Any time the broadcasters or the broadcast teams are taking any shine away from the athletes that are competing, this is not an ideal situation… We’re talking about this instead of maybe Geoff Neal vs Santiago Ponzinibbio as our kicker to the interview.”
“But Dom don’t give a rip what people think. He shoots from the hip. He is one of my best friends in the world, he’s insulted me to my face and he’s been right. He is not afraid to tell it like it is.”
