However, O’Malley has been accused of copying the style and personality of ‘Mystic Mac’ on various occasions. In the UFC 264 media day, O’Malley addressed the same, giving a befitting reply.
“That’s not true at all. I definitely have taken bits and pieces and learned from him, which I think is a smart thing to do to learn from someone who is that successful and doing that well. But yeah, he has definitely inspired me a ton.
“The way he carries himself, the way he handles pressure, the way he goes into these big fights. I have learned a lot from him.”
