Francis Ngannou and Dana White are still taking shots at each other after the former’s move to PFL. Some people have backed the UFC president, while some people have extended their support to the former heavyweight champion. Now ‘The Predator’ has another supporter in Tom Aspinall, who recently shared his opinion about his new PFL deal.

Dana White recently revealed that he didn’t see any reason for the rival promotion to splash so much cash on Francis Ngannou. Considering he hasn’t fought for a long time, the 53-year-old claimed that his contract made no sense as a promoter. Meanwhile, Tom Aspinall appeared in an interview and appeared to have been happy for the French-Cameroonian fighter.

Tom Aspinall suffered an injury to his knee last year. He tore his meniscus and his MCL, including a considerable amount of damage to his ACL as well. While he’s recuperating from his injury, ‘TheMacLife’ caught up with him for an interview and asked him about Francis Ngannou’s situation. However, Aspinall mentioned that he has a tendency to stay away from hearing news about the sport.

Aspinall said, “I try and avoid MMA news a lot because, like I said, I don’t have a lot going on in my life other than MMA.” He said that he prefers to avoid the content from media outlets and tries to engage in other activities during his time away from the sport. Aspinall added, “So when I am in my free time, I try not to do too much MMA Inc.”

Tom Aspinall mentioned that he was aware of the basic facts regarding ‘The Predator’s PFL move. He is seemingly happy for Ngannou because it’s his choice after all. He said, “I know the basics about it and I think if it works for him and he’s happy with it, fair enough.”

Aspinall also stated that if his move to the PFL is working for Ngannou, and if the money is right for him, then there is nothing to talk about. “If he feels like he deserves more than what the UFC was offering him and he’s gone and got that, fair play to the fellow.”
