The rise of Conor McGregor in the sport of MMA highlighted that being good with words is as much a part of the game as the strikes and submissions themselves. And in this evolved fight world where verbal jabs and personal spats are common, the spotlight once again shines on the ‘The Notorious’ Conor McGregor.
Following their explicit online dispute a few months ago, True Geordie, a prominent 6’3″ YouTuber and podcaster, has pointed out McGregor’s double standards in a new video. The popular YouTuber and podcaster has shared his thoughts on Conor McGregor’s antics during the Anthony Joshua vs. Robert Helenius event in London last weekend.
He has not only accused McGregor of hypocrisy but has also openly challenged McGregor’s conduct towards fellow YouTube fighters Jake Paul and KSI.

Conor McGregor and his attention-seeking statements
In the video he posted, Geordie criticized McGregor for his behavior at the Anthony Joshua vs. Robert Helenius event. The YouTuber highlighted how McGregor made a number of bizarre and attention-seeking statements during the fight. This includes the UFC star shadow-boxing at ringside, challenging Michael Chandler to a fight, and claiming that KSI “couldn’t box eggs if he walked in a f***ing egg boxing factory.”
According to Geordie, throughout the event, McGregor seemed more interested in voicing his opinions about other fighters rather than supporting Anthony Joshua.

“He was complimenting KSI on Twitter not long ago, saying ‘good finish, well done,’ said Geordie. “And now he’s slagging him off just because he’s there. It’s me, me, me. Everyone look at me, please care, please.”
History with Jake Paul and KSI
Geordie also pointed out that McGregor has a history of being hypocritical when it comes to Jake Paul and KSI. In the past, McGregor has dismissed both men as “YouTubers” and said that they are not real fighters.

“He acts like he doesn’t even know Jake Paul and KSI, but immediately when he’s in the room he knows exactly who they are,” said Geordie. “Why? Because he cares so much about attention and they have of it and he wants all of it.”
The MMA world has to wait for what McGregor has to say about Geordie’s latest comments. However, it is clear that the Irishman is sensitive to criticism, and he is likely to lash out at Geordie again shortly.
