Cejudo and Whittaker recently appeared in an interview with FOX Sports. During the conversation, ‘Triple C’ was asked for some ‘Monday Motivation’. Without wasting a single second, the former double champion began by providing feedback to Whittaker.
He said, “I think there’s a lot that, I do believe you can reclaim that 185 lbs title fine. Bring the engineers, man, to you. You know, learning how to use your leverage, man, like jumping into other positions rather than losing them. You know what I’m saying. Recognizing that this is a little bit more like adjusting your stance, that lead leg, I mean that could be the biggest difference for Robert Whittaker, when he beats Israel Adesanya.”
Furthermore, the warrior offered to teach Whittaker and guide him on his crusade to defeat ‘The Last Stylebender’ and reclaim his title. He claimed that he has never chased anybody, but he was willing to do so for ‘The Reaper’. Without a doubt, Whittaker accepted the offer. He replied with gratitude in his tone, “I appreciate that.”
