Jamahal Hill made his first public appearance ever since his injury and has got all the fans’ attention. The UFC light heavyweight champion has announced his decision to relinquish the title after suffering a ruptured Achilles tendon. The injury will necessitate surgery and a lengthy rehabilitation period. Hill took to his YouTube channel to make the announcement, expressing his disappointment but recognizing the importance of keeping the division progressing. In January, he clinched the vacant light heavyweight title by defeating Glover Teixeira at UFC 283.

‘Sweet Dreams’ had a scheduled title defense against former champion Jiří Procházka, who had previously given up the belt due to a shoulder injury. However, with Hill’s injury, the division once again finds itself without a champion. Procházka and Jon Jones doing it first, this is the third time in the last three years that the UFC light heavyweight title has been vacated.

Now, the 32-year-old recently appeared in moving around using assistance and the fans couldn’t help but put their thoughts out on it.
