Dana White demonstrated why Jon Jones will be fighting Stipe Miocic instead of Tom Aspinall: “When you say Jon Jones vs Tom Aspinall, does that mean we’re saying that Stipe doesn’t deserve that fight? This fight was supposed to happen, Jon got injured. Stipe has paid his dues and has been here forever. I know everybody wants to see Aspinall, but those two are gonna fight and whoever wins, hopefully, Aspinall is next.”

White claims that Jon Jones and Miocic have a standing in UFC which Aspinall is yet to gain and after he gains it, then he can fight the top dogs. Tom Aspinall is right behind Jon Jones with the interim champion title and Miocic has also been inactive for quite some time. Yet the UFC head honcho wants to see a clash between ‘Bones’ and Miocic before Aspinall gets a chance. On top of that, Ben Askren alleged that Jones might have some ‘ dirt’ on White given how lenient he is being with Jones. He said, “I almost feel like maybe Jon’s got some dirt on Dana or something because Dana generally would not put up with this type of behavior.”
