Dressed like an astronaut in the episode, Joe Rogan looked troubled discussing the topic. There are geo-political tensions going on and Rogan couldn’t help but feel shaken. He emphasized how other nations joining in could take things even further.

The American is miles away from all the trouble and so are billions of other people. However, Rogan had a unique understanding of how the terrible experience was tragically only felt by the people caught in the crossfire.

“This Israel thing like it scares the sh*t out of me,” Rogan started. “Because when I see something like that happen you know there’s like there’s no clear way this resolves peacefully like this is bad this is real bad… what happens then and what other countries get involved and fu*k man it just really puts into perspective that there’s some sh*t going on that you’re not thinking about . . .”

His words rang true for millions of people around the world. The discomfort of the topic alone has many shuddering in fear. The conflict has long raged between the two regions, but the current tensions have caught everyone’s attention.

Rogan points out how people like him don’t have to think about the issue

Joe Rogan gave an example of how people like him and Redban do not live in a place of constant tension. The podcaster showed great self-awareness while pointing out how he was privileged to live in the USA and do what he does. Yet, the current world affairs have instilled fear in him.

“. . . we just don’t think about that world because we’re not in that world,” he said. “We’re comedians, so we’re hanging out at the comedy club. We’re doing podcasts. That’s our world…”
