UFC’s Heaviest Puncher Francis ‘The Predator’ Ngannou‘s contractual fiasco with Dana White was a huge shocker to the lovers of the sport. After being a free agent for months, he has now signed on with Professional Fighters League (PFL) and the deal seems too good to be true.

With a number of great fights to his name, the former UFC champion is all set to compete in a new promotion with new rules and regulations. The contract is ridiculously lucrative and accommodates other clauses that ultimately work in The Predator’s favor.

As soon as people got wind of the astounding contract offered to the hard-hitter, everyone wanted to know what about the contract seemed so incredible. TSM MMA Commentator Aron Bronsteter shed some light and answered some of these questions.

However, following the conflict of interest and change in his allegiance, the internet is now divided. Some favor his move while others aren’t holding back on the criticism.

Fans replied to Bronsteter’s tweet congratulating the fighter saying.

Replies like Haters are real quiet now fumbling the bag they said“, “Francis not fumbling the bag is the best news I’ve heard all month. Good for Champ” and “Glad to see he got a great deal AND kept to helping his fellow fighters.” showed that some he has real supporters who will stick by him through thick and thin. One commented, Francis got the whole entire bag.. kudos to him” while another commented “Wow minimum salary of 1 mn for his opponent! Good on Francis. He got what he wanted.. persistence pays.” Another fan jumped in saying, “I like the fact that whoever his opponent is will have a minimum salary just to fight him. Possibly 1 million.  Say what you want, but Francis is looking out for fighters.”

However, criticism caught up quickly.

Firebacks like “This is gonna lose the PFL a hell of a lot of money“, “He got paid, but at what cost?” and “He has absolutely no “must see” fights in PFL and his name isn’t exactly “household” so it’s not like it will bring in casual fans.” proved beyond doubt that not all fans of the sport were pleased with his decision.
