The main event at UFC San Antonio had a few unexpected results. While many mixed martial arts fans were rooting for Marlon ‘Chito’ Vera to claim his fifth consecutive victory, fate evidently had different plans for the fighter. However, ‘Chito’ did his best to stay humble after facing defeat at the hands of Cory Sandhagen

The ‘Sandman’ won over ‘Chito’ via split decision, after the two went against each other for the five rounds. Nevertheless, the fans noticed that Vera was unable to perform well in the first couple of rounds. Arguably, that became the reason for his loss. The Ecuadorean Warrior recently took to Twitter and revealed his disappointment. Thankfully, fans still stood firm in support of Vera after his recent loss.

Furthermore, some fans had complete faith in the fighter and believed that he would come back.

Another fan doubted the judges’ decision and dissed them.
