Recently, the new bantamweight champion, Sean O’Malley, took to his social media handle and wrote, “UFC CHAMP 18-0. 28 years old. Life’s crazy.“He claimed that his UFC record was 18-0 and that he was not ready to accept the loss he faced against Vera. O’Malley and Vera locked horns in the UFC octagon on August 15, 2020.

Back then, O’Malley was an undefeated fighter, and many expected that he would win the showdown against Vera. However, things took a different turn when ‘Suga’ faced some ankle issues. This severely affected his performance and ended up with him getting knocked out in the opening round.
However, O’Malley seems to be keen on forgetting that incident and has claimed that he is an undefeated UFC champion. When fans came across his claim, most of them were quick to remind him that he actually lost to Vera.
