Francis Ngannou continues to stand as one of the most intimidating knockout artists the sport of MMA has ever witnessed. Back in 2018, Dana White left the world in awe when he revealed the astounding statistics behind the force of Ngannou’s punches. The UFC president unveiled that ‘The Predator’ holds the world record for the most powerful punch, its impact equating to an astonishing 96 horsepower. Putting this into perspective, White stated that being on the receiving end of the Ngannou’s punch is akin to getting struck by a Ford Escort moving at top speed. Additionally, the UFC boss stated it’s comparable to experiencing the full force of a 12-pound sledgehammer swung from overhead.
Intriguingly, Ngannou’s raw power was officially quantified, setting the record for the hardest punch ever recorded at a jaw-dropping 129,161 units. Five years later, the ex-UFC fighter’s punch still reverberates through the MMA world just the same. As Sean Strickland recently described Ngannou’s strike to Joe Rogan, it became clear that ‘The Predator’s’ power is not to be underestimated.

Intriguingly, ‘The Predator’ has now transitioned to become a PFL star after cutting ties with Dana White’s promotion.
