Joe Rogan recently released his #2106 episode of his famous JRE podcast. This time round, he invited the renowned musician, singer Kid Rock. Rock recently released his latest album, “Bad Reputation,” and sat for a candid chat with the 56-year-old. However, during the discussion, the pair took time to mourn the loss of Thomas Earl Petty (Tom Petty). Petty lost his life on 2nd October 2017 because of an accidental drug overuse of several medications. Tom Petty was one of the biggest names in the world of music. Born on October 20, 1950, the 66-year-old was a singer, songwriter, and also a guitarist. Petty was also the leader of the rock bands Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and Mudcrutch. He was also included in the Hall of Fame in 2002 for his band Petty and Heartbreakers. Luke Combs, Dolly Parton, Chris Stapleton, along with many others have decided to give Tom Petty a tribute.

The JRE host also made sure he remembered the legendary musician in his latest podcast. While speaking to Kid Rock, he said, “That’s how Tom Petty died. Somebody got him some pills.” After listening to this, Kid Rock replied, “It was Fentanyl?” Rogan made it clear by saying, “I don’t remember what his injury was, and he was hurt, and a roadie got him some Fentanyl. That’s how Prince died too.”

The pair then went on to discuss many other things, which included the famous Bud Light controversies. During the conversation, Rogan made it clear as to how he once enjoyed his tour with them. Many personalities boycotted the company for a controversy. However, Kid Rock then shared his experience meeting with the Bud Light CEO, which helped him put an end to the beef. Bud Light once attained the top position for beer sellers in the US. Regardless, the company suffered a massive loss after they roped in TikTok personality Dylan Mulvaney for a particular campaign in April 2023. It led to a variety of celebrities boycotting the brand, which included American Rockstar Kid Rock.

He even released a video of him shooting cans of Bud Light beers. While speaking to Joe Rogan, the singer admitted to being at fault for boycotting the brand. However, he did reveal how his interaction with the Anheuser Busch’s CEO helped him understand the situation better.

During the conversation, he made it clear how his conversation helped him end the beef with Bud Light. He said, “He’s a good dude, man. He’s a great guy, after five minutes of talking to him. I’m with Trump there and Dana’s greenroom, I go to Trump. I go, ‘See that dude behind me. That’s the CEO of Bud Light, Anheuser Busch’, and Trump’s like ‘You want to talk to him?’, which in my mind use, Trump said, ‘You want to go f*** with him?’ And I’m like, ‘Yes, absolutely’.”
