The UFC world is waiting for the battle between the tech giants. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Twitter CEO Elon Musk are getting ready to lock horns in the UFC octagon in the near future. Both billionaires are already trained in mixed martial arts. However, the top fighters in the UFC offered them a helping hand prior to their cage fight. It was a verbal war between Zuckerberg and Musk that led to them calling out each other. The world was already aware of their rivalry in the tech world. Zuckerberg was getting ready to launch ‘Threads’, a micro-blogging platform that could rival Twitter. However, Musk didn’t believe that the Meta CEO’s new venture could challenge Twitter. When things began to get bitter between the two, a Twitter user warned Musk about Zuckerberg’s Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu skills. This ended up with Musk calling out Zuckerberg and him agreeing to the fight.

Ever since the UFC world came to know about the prospect, MMA fighters, including Jon Jones, Georges St-Pierre, Jorge Masvidal, and Dominick Cruz have offered to train the tech giants. However, the BJJ GOAT, Gordon Ryan, believes that the fighters who are offering help to Musk and Zuckerberg are just thirsty for attention.

Gordon Ryan targets UFC fighters

Gordon Ryan is someone who has conquered heights in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He is a first-degree BJJ black belt and a five-time ADCC World Champion. Ryan, who is currently staying away from the sport due to health concerns, felt that the UFC fighters just wanted some attention. He took to his Instagram story and wrote, “All these people posting online about how they’ll train zuck or Elon are just looking for attention.

From the words of ‘The King’, it was clear that he was targeting top fighters in the UFC like Jon Jones and Georges St-Pierre, among others. Georges St-Pierre and Gordon Ryan are the students of coach John Danaher. However, he felt that GSP was trying hard to turn some heads towards him.

Fighters who wanted to help Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg

Soon after the bout between Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk began to make the rounds, Jon Jones took the Meta CEO’s side. He declared on Twitter that he was with Zuckerberg. He tweeted, “Let me know if you need a training partner!” When Jones became a supporter of the Meta CEO, GSP took the side of the Twitter CEO, Elon Musk. St-Pierre tweeted, “@elonmusk I’m a huge fan of yours and it would be an absolute honor to help you and be your training partner for the challenge against Zuckerberg.

Former UFC BW kingpin Dominick Cruz was also a fan of Musk and offered to help him in the showdown against Zuckerberg.
