Following a messy brawl, the recently concluded boxing exhibition bout between Logan Paul and Dillon Danis ended in a DQ loss for the latter. But it looks like the grappler’s troubles are far from being over as GOAT Gordon Ryan seems to be opening another font for Danis.

Ever since the bout’s confirmation was made public, the antics between Paul and Danis have hyped up the netizens. After weeks of mudslinging and drama, fans finally got to see the boxing matchup between the two men. Right from the get-go, Danis looked out of his comfort zone as the Jiu-Jitsu black belt was looking for chokes and takedowns instead of boxing. As expected, the masses are having a field day trolling “El-Jeffe,” one of them being Gordon Ryan.

Gordon Ryan shares a conversation with Dillon Danis

In one of his recent Instagram stories, Gordon Ryan has shared the screenshots of what looks like his conversation with Dillon Danis. In the conversation, Danis can be seen calling out Gordon Ryan. “Ok, bud, I got paydays. I would do it to expose your game. It’s very easily beatable,” Danis said. To this, Ryan replied, “Ok, man, I’m in.” Now, after Danis’s loss, Ryan has made this conversation public via his Instagram.

Trolling his fellow Jiu-Jitsu black belt, Ryan captioned this as, “I know what team Dennis should join. Bro hasn’t won in years.” For those unaware, ‘The Iron Dragon’ has been involved in the feud between ‘El Jeffe’ and ‘Maverick’ for a while now. The grappling sensation showed up at the weigh-ins of the fight. According to Logan Paul, he brought Ryan to protect him in case Danis tried to use his Jiu-Jitsu on him.

Both Gordon Ryan and Dillon Danis share an interesting history. The two men had previously rolled with each other during an ADCC tournament in Espoo, Finland. This closely contested matchup ended in a decision win for Ryan following a referee’s call. Since then, the two men have taken different paths in their respective careers. While Ryan went on a legendary run in submission grappling, Danis got involved in other ventures, with this boxing matchup being the latest.

The bad blood continues between the two Jiu-Jitsu big names

The bad blood between the men has been going on for sometimes, something that was witnessed once again before and after Dillon Danis’ fight with Logan Paul. Gordon Ryan has been questioning his former rival’s skill on the mat for a while now. In his recent appearance on MMA Hour, ‘The King’ echoed this statement once again, highlighting the fact that Danis hasn’t competed in any combat sports for the last four years and the fact that he is 18-16 since earning his black belt.

He further added that Danis only cares about publicity, something for which he blames the athlete’s time with Conor McGregor. As expected, Danis’s recent upset gave the alleged GOAT another chance to fire shots at ‘El Jeffe.’ As soon as the fight ended, ‘The Iron Dragon’ posted several of Danis’s fails during the boxing matchup on his Instagram story. All of this is definitely an indication that this rivalry is not going to end anytime soon. At least not until the two men roll together once again.
