In the world of mixed martial arts, there is hardly any fighter who has reached the level of fame and glamor like Conor McGregor. Since his debut, he has been a paramount figure in the business of the UFC, more often regarded as someone who has turned into the face of the UFC. However, McGregor has been out of the Octagon for the last two years. While he claims to be ready for a comeback, there is no official confirmation about it as yet. In the meantime, his social media posts continue to attract the attention of fans and detractors alike.
His astounding journey from the streets of Dublin to the pinnacle of the UFC has captivated fans worldwide. A recent post by McGregor has left the fans in awe, but unlike the usual, this time, it is not ‘Mystic Mac’ who is the subject of discussion. Rather, it is his young son who seems to be following in his father’s formidable footsteps.

Prospects for a Conor McGregor comeback in 2024
Conor McGregor has been alluding to a potential resurgence within the confines of the octagonal arena. He had previously tantalized fans with the prospect of a return engagement in December 2023, pitting himself against the formidable Michael Chandler in a highly anticipated bout at UFC 296. Nevertheless, a series of stringent prerequisites must be met before he can take part in the competition once more.

The stringent stipulations set forth by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA), which serves as the UFC’s shield against performance-enhancing substances, has asked McGregor to re-enter the testing pool and pass two clean drug tests over six months before he can compete again. This requirement seems to be one of the main reasons why McGregor can’t make a comeback in 2023.
In addition to these roadblocks, Dana White has not given any concrete indications about his return in 2024. What do you think? Will Conor McGregor be able to make his comeback or not? Do tell us in the comments below.
